You should run the uninstall.exe file in C:\Program Files\LightSpeed Web Accelerator\uninstall\uninstall.exe.

or you are comfortable editing the registry you can do this

  • 1) "Start" menu, "Run", then type "regedit"
  • 2) Go into HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE
  • 3) Delete the entire key called "SlipStream"
  • 4) Delete all the files in the installation directory (normally c:\program files\LightSpeed Web Accelerator
  • 5) Remove all shortcuts via the "Start" menu, "Programs", "Startup" and then right-click on LightSpeed Web Accelerator and then delete this shortcut. Any other shortcuts can be removed in a similar manner.

    Yes, modem on hold is supported in many areas, to view what areas, please see Access Numbers and the MOH column of the acces number lists. In all MOH areas, we have a timeout of 180 seconds (3 minutes) set.

    To use MOH the user must have a V.92 Modem, Callwaiting on their phone line, and the NetWaiting or a MOH software applet. Most V.92 modems include the applet with their CD.
